Who this policy covers
This policy explains what information Cornerstone Columbia Concrete collects when you use our website, what we do with it and how long we keep it. It applies to this site, starting at our home page, and to the information you send us through it.
We're a concrete contractor in Columbia, TN, and we work on driveways, patios, slabs and other concrete jobs for homeowners in Columbia and the cities around it. You can read more about our crew on our About page. We only ask for the information we need to answer your question, give you a quote and do the job.
Information you give us
When you fill out our contact form or call us, you may give us:
Your name, phone number and email address, so we can reach you about your request.
Your street address or the location of the job, so we know where to come out for the estimate.
Details about the project, such as the size of the driveway or patio, what's wrong with the old slab and any photos you choose to send, so we can plan the visit and price the work.
Our contact form is run by an outside form service, which collects what you type and passes it to us. That service handles your entries under its own privacy terms. Please don't send payment card numbers or other sensitive details through the form, because we never need them there.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, ours may collect some technical information when you visit. This can include your browser type, the kind of device you're on, the pages you looked at, how long you stayed and the site that sent you here. It's used to see how people find us and which pages help them, not to identify you personally.
We may use analytics tools and cookies to gather this. Cookies are small files your browser stores so a site can remember a visit. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work for reading pages and sending us a request.
How we use your information
We use what you send us to:
Answer your questions and schedule an estimate.
Prepare your quote, plan the work and keep you updated on the job.
Follow up after the job if there's a question about the work or our guarantee.
Keep business records we're required to keep, such as invoices and tax records.
Improve the website so it's easier for the next homeowner to find what they need.
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't rent or trade it to anyone for their marketing.
When we share it
We share information only when it's needed to run the business or the law requires it. That can include the services that host our website, run our contact form or handle our email and records, and they only get what they need to do that work for us.
If a permit office, a supplier or a subcontractor needs the job address or project details to do their part of the work, we share just those details. We'll also share information if a court order or a legal duty requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep estimate requests and messages for as long as we need them to answer you and to see whether the job goes ahead. If we do the work, we keep the job records for as long as we need them to stand behind the work and to meet tax and business record rules.
When we no longer need the information, we delete it or destroy it. Analytics data is kept in summary form and isn't tied to your name.
Keeping it safe
We take reasonable steps to protect what you send us, such as limiting who on our team can see it and using services that protect stored data. No website or email system is completely secure, so we can't promise that information sent over the internet will never be intercepted.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to:
Tell you what personal information we have about you.
Correct anything that's wrong.
Delete your information, unless we have to keep it for a legal or business record reason.
Stop contacting you about anything other than an open job.
Depending on where you live, the law may give you other rights over your information, and we'll honor those as well. We may need to confirm who you are before we act on a request, so we don't hand your information to someone else.
Children's privacy
Our website is meant for adults arranging work on their property. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, let us know and we'll delete it.
Links to other sites
Our pages may link to other websites, such as a city office or a product maker. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and this policy doesn't cover them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our website or the way we work changes. The current version is always the one posted on this page.
How to raise a privacy question
If you have a question or concern about your information, or want to make one of the requests above, reach us through our Contact page or call (931) 286-9065. We're available Monday through Sunday, 8 AM to 9 PM, and we reply within 1 business day.
